Sanford, FL – RIFE Putters collected another victory on the Nationwide Tour this past weekend as Lee Williams finished at 14-under to capture his first Tour win at The Mexico Open presented by Banamex. The event was held at The El Bosque Golf Club in Leon, Mexico.

This time it was a RIFE Aussie putter that grabbed all the attention as Williams sunk a par putt on 18 to seal the victory. That putt earned him $112,500.00 and moved him from No. 39 to No. 5 on The Nationwide Tour Money List. Williams currently ranks 11th in Putts Per Round on the Tour with a 28.84 average.

This was RIFE’s second victory of the week. They captured a win at the Wegmans LPGA Championship this past weekend as well.

“We’d like to congratulate both Lee and Shanshan on their impressive victories and thank them for making this a very special week for all of us at RIFE Putters,” said V.P. of Tour Operations, Jim Barfield.

About RIFE Putters
RIFE Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. RIFE Putters states, “just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face.” Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.

Sanford, FL – RIFE Putters played a part in LPGA Tour history this past weekend at The Wegmans Championship held at The Locust Hill CC in Rochester, NY. It was the first time ever that a player from mainland China won on the LPGA Tour and she did it with her RIFE Mr. Beasley putter in hand.

She shot a 5-under-par 67, the lowest round of the week, in the final round of the LPGA’s second Major Championship to come from three shots back and finish at 6-under-par to capture a two stroke victory. She beat a number of former Major Champions and collected a first place check for $375,000.00.

Her scorecard was bogey-free on Sunday, with five birdies for the round, one of which came on the Par 5 – 17th Hole which in essence sealed the win and made her the seventh player in LPGA history to make the LPGA Championship their first Tour victory.

This victory is just the latest accomplishment in what has been an amazing year. She became the first player from China to win on the Ladies European Tour earlier this year and also captured a victory on the Japan LPGA Tour in May. This win moved her up from No. 10 to No. 5 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

Amazingly, this is RIFE’s second Major Victory on the Professional Golf Tour’s in the past 30 days. Matt Kuchar and his RIFE Island Series Barbados putter captured an easy two stoke victory over the field at the flagship event for the PGA TOUR, The Players Championship, back on May 10th.

“It’s been a very exciting year for us,” said Jim Barfield, V.P. of Tour Operations for RIFE Putters. “To capture two victories at two Major Championships like this is pretty remarkable.”

Sanford, FL – Matt Kuchar and his RIFE Island Series Barbados putter dominated the putting statistics for the week and captured an easy two stoke victory over the field at the flagship event for the PGA TOUR, The Players Championship, this past weekend.

RIFE’s Tour Rep hand delivered a new Island Series Barbados putter to him on Monday morning and after rolling it a few times on the practice green at TPC Sawgrass, Kuchar decided to immediately put it into play.

“We made Matt a brand new Barbados with a special bend and bore angle that would fit his putting style better, said Jim Barfield, V.P. of Tour Operations for RIFE Putters, “It has 5 degrees of loft and a 70 degree lie angle. I joked with Matt’s dad on Monday and said it was a “magic putter” that we put together for him. Little did I know I was right! What a thrilling victory. We’re just proud to be a part of it.”

Kuchar ranked 2nd in Strokes Gained/Putting, 5th in Putts Per Round (27.5 avg.) and 5th in Putts Per GIR (1.642 avg.). “I’ve never seen Matt so confident standing over his putts,” said Barfield, “it was like he was stuck on automatic.”

Matt has had a number of Top Ten finishes already this season and captured a 3rd Place Finish at The Masters earlier this year using his old RIFE Barbados putter, but the new bend and bore angle seem to have made all the difference in the world.

Kuchar earned a check for $1.7 Million for his Players Championship victory and moved up to 6th Place on the Fed Ex Cup Points List.

RIFE’s new line of putters for 2012 include its award winning Island Series models like the Abaco, Aruba, Barbados, Cayman Brac and Trinidad, all of which are recent recipients of a 2012 Golf Digest Hot List Award.

All of these Island Series putters are available in either a Standard Silver Finish or in RIFE’s brand new Tropical Finish. This Tropical Finish is created by using a vacuum “Ti” plating process” on the head of the putter. A broad spectrum of colors emanate from this deep rich gunmetal like finish creating a “rainbow effect” depending upon how the light hits it. The new finish has other benefits aside from its eye-catching appearance. The finish prevents oxidization, increases hardness and makes the putter very wear-resistant.

There was plenty of drama on Sunday afternoon and several leaderboard changes, and as always, the greens at Augusta put the best players in the world to the ultimate test.

This time, it was a RIFE Island Series Barbados Belly putter that caught all the attention and earned the 3rd Place Finisher a paycheck for $384,000.00.

“To say the greens at Augusta were challenging again this year would be a bit of an understatement,” said Robby Hipp, Director of Development for RIFE Putters. “Speed and distance control can be the difference between making a birdie or a double bogey. Based on the number of Top Ten Finishes we’ve had at The Masters over the years, it appears that our RollGrooveTM Technology has them pretty well figured out.”

This week it was a RIFE Island Series putter that caught all the attention and earned the 3rd Place Finisher a paycheck for $100,511.00. The 3rd Place Finisher and her RIFE putter currently Rank 3rd in Putts Per GIR on the LPGA Tour, with a 1.68 average, and 7th in Putts Per Round, with a 28.5 average. RIFE had a total of five putters in play at the event.

“We’re very excited about having our putters in play on all three of the Professional Tours,” said Robby Hipp, Director of Development for RIFE Putters. “These Tour Players can pretty much play whatever they want. To have them choose to play a RIFE putter says a whole lot about our product.”

Sanford, FL – After a full one year hiatus from having full time representation on the Champions Tour, RIFE Putters was back for the first time this week and captured a 2nd Place Finish at the Allianz Championship held in Boca Raton, FL.

It was nearly a victory celebration, as two players were tied at 11 under after the final round, but the 2nd Place Finisher was defeated on the 1st hole of a sudden death playoff.

“We’re very excited to have our rep back out on the Champions Tour full time,” said Robby Hipp, Director of Development for RIFE Putters, “and this was a great first week for us. We had several putters in play and managed to capture a 2nd Place and a T-7th Place Finish. More importantly, the Tour Players were excited to see us back. So we expect to have a lot more putters in play over the next few weeks.”

RIFE had several putters in play at The Allianz Championship including the Aussie, Barbados, Cayman Brac, 2 Bar Blade, 2 Bar Mallet and the 2 Bar Hybrid. RIFE’s combined earnings for the event were $254,196.00

RIFE’s new line of putters for 2012 include its award winning Island Series models: the Abaco, Aruba, Cayman Brac and Trinidad, which are all recent recipients of a 2012 Golf Digest Hot List Award.

All of these Island Series putters will be available in either a Standard Silver Finish or in RIFE’s brand new Tropical Finish.

SANFORD, FL – The February 2012 issue of Golf Digest has hit the newsstands and its official…RIFE Putters has made the prestigious Golf Digest Hot List for the 6th time in the past seven years! Four of RIFE’s Island Series putters, the Abaco, Aruba, Cayman Brac and Trinidad have been honored in the “Blade” category.

The Golf Digest Hot List is derived from in-depth club testing that is administered by a Hot List Panel consisting of 38 Players, Scientists, Retailers, and Judges, who this year reviewed hundreds of products and came up with what they refer to as the equipment that is most intriguing, and most significant for 2012.

Each product was rated and given points in several different categories including, Performance, Innovation, Look/Sound/Feel, and Demand. RIFE’s Island Series putters received high marks in all categories tested including 4 out of 5 stars for Performance, Innovation and Demand. According to Golf Digest Magazine, “Center-shafted blades are not usually for the masses. This one (the Trinidad) drew unanimous raves for its roll from our testers.”

All of these Island Series putters will be available in either a Standard Silver Finish or in RIFE’s brand new Tropical Finish for 2012.

“It’s a huge honor to have our putters make the Hot List,” said Robby Hipp, Director of Development for RIFE Putters. “This year we integrated our patented RollGrooveTM Technology Face and Alignment Notch System into some more traditional putter designs like the Trinidad, the Aruba and the Cayman Brac. Receiving six Golf Digest Hot List Awards in seven years is a pretty good indication that we’re on the right track.”
