Q. Which RIFE putter is best for me?
A. Both Blade and Mallet styles work for open and close putting, as well as straight back, straight through putting. They are also designed to be exactly the same on weight and have the same great feel. If you are used to the visual effects of a blade style putter, then you would more than likely prefer the blade. However, the mallet style frames up the bars and gives you a longer sight line behind the ball.

Q. What are the available offsets in RIFE Putters?
A. Thank you for your interest in RIFE putters. We are now offering right-handed offset putters in both blade and mallet styles. They are available in 33, 34, and 35 inch lengths.

Q. What is the difference in offset and Non-offset?
A. Sometimes, it is personal preference as far as the look of the putter is set up. For alignment purposes and for proper set up, the idea is to get the person’s eyes to be directly over the ball, particularly the player’s dominant eye. For a right-handed player who has a dominant left eye, the eye closest to the hole, we would typically fit them with a straight shafted putter because that puts their dominant eye over the ball. For a person who is right eye dominant, the eye furthest from the hole, we would give them an offset shaft. Putting the ball under the dominant eye helps the player line up the putt with more accuracy . Offset putters typically help golfers keep their hands in front of the ball at impact and promotes less break down in the wrists.

Q. Will the hybrid weights interchange with the older 2 Bar Mallets?
A. If the bars have chambers weights that are threaded for screw in weights then the weight kit will work with the putter. If there is not a ring around the allen wrench hole at the end of the bar then you putter has solid bars and is not changeable. The Hybrid putter weights will not work with the original 2 Bar Mallet putter.

Q. When putting with a forward press, does the offset in the shaft help or hurt?
A. The length of the putter and being offset does not have much to do with the forward press. It does naturally set your hands forward of the ball so you will not need to forward press as much as normal to get your hands ahead of the ball. If you are worried about your forward press affecting your putting because of delofting , simply add loft to the putter by bending the shaft forward towards the ball using the bending tool. This ensures that when the putter is pressed forward, the putter’s loft will be returned to its original optimal position of 2 degrees.
